Shasta College’s 2005-07 Strategic
Plan recognizes that technology plays an important role in achieving
the college’s goals of (1) promoting student learning and success, (2)
strengthening its infrastructure, (3) building community, and (4)
investing in its people. Many of the strategies developed to achieve
these goals or “initiatives” involve technology, directly or
indirectly. Strategy 2.1 directly specifies the establishment of a
comprehensive technology plan. The Technology Plan will provide input
for the annual budgeting process and future Strategic Plans.
