Make certain that your planned event is coordinated with The Dean of Students and Support Programs. Before you schedule the event, fill out an application for Use of Facilities through Administrative Services.

If publicity is needed, coordinate arrangements with Chris Takemoto for art, drama, music, athletics or other events at 242-7514. Request for publicity forms are available for this purpose on our web site, A-Z listing, under Docushare or the form can be requested from Chris Takemoto.

Please allow time well in advance of your planned activity for promotion of the event/activity. Four to six weeks is needed for local news, radio, and television community calendars, and at least two weeks in advance is required for newspapers.

All items promoting or publicizing Shasta College or its activities must be coordinated with the Dean of Students and the Information Office.

Please forward a copy of any planned promotional materials that are to be distributed to the community to the Dean of Students and the Information Office for review.

Please keep The Dean of Students and Support Programs office informed of any college-sponsored activity so we can give accurate information to inquiries by the  community or college staff.
