in finding a child under age two to observe for this assignment. I have

resources on attachment in the first three years of life, as well as

- A scholarly article on Attachment by Peter Fonagy,
PhD, is available at the
Dallas Society for
Psychoanalytic Psychology web site. Although the article is
lengthy and complex, the information is most worthwhile.
- Harry F. Harlow conducted experiments on rhesus
monkeys. These sad experiments contributed to our understanding of
attachment. In 1958, he wrote about his experiments in a scholarly paper
found at the
Classics in the History of Psychology web site. This paper will be
especially valuable to students who would like to learn more about
Harlow's research.
