Horticulture
With California leading the nation in the production of nursery and floral crops, and the growing interest in gardening and golf, job opportunities within the Horticulture industry continue to expand.  Careers available to Horticulture Management degree graduates include:  Golf course and turf management, landscape construction and maintenance, nursery production and sales, floral production and design, irrigation design and troubleshooting, as well as positions with government service agencies.

Shasta College offers certificates in the following areas:  Master Floral Design, Irrigation, Retail Nursery, and Landscape & Turf Management.  Please see the college catalog for detailed information on these certificates.
