Physiology Lab - 1 unit  (F/S)

A laboratory course designed to complement Physiology 1.  A total of sixteen, individual laboratory experiments which provide reinforcement in the topics covered in Physiology lecture.  Selected experiments include membrane transport, enzyme characteristics, electrophoresis, medical genetics, muscle contraction, EEG, cardiology, hemodynamics, and metabolism.  Group activities, mini-lectures, and demonstrations will be a part of each lab session.  Physiology lab is a prerequisite for the ADN and Dental Hygiene program.  This course should be taken concurrently or after completion of Physiology 1.
