ANAT 1 - Human Anatomy |

Course description: A
college-level introductory course in human anatomy. A systematic
(the body systems – skeletal, cardiovascular, etc.,) and regional
(the body regions – head and neck, thorax, etc.,) hands on approach
to anatomy of the human body. Lectures will entertain relating the
design of structure to facilitate function. Laboratory activities
utilize compound microscopes and dissection equipment to investigate
tissue and organ levels of human anatomy. Gross dissection of cats
and demonstrations utilizing cadavers is an integral portion of the
course. May be taken concurrently with PHY 1.
