Hospitality program
The Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts programs at Shasta College offer the opportunity to pursue studies related to operating a wide variety of hospitality facilities. Graduates are ready to enter an exciting, rewarding, and varied career in a rapidly growing industry. Career opportunities in hotels and motels, restaurants, catering, casinos, airlines, educational and health care facilities, sports arenas, and in private, franchise, and corporate environments.
Shasta College's objective is to expand the student's horizons with a wide variety of courses that focus on becoming an employee who is prepared to assume a variety of job opportunities. Hands-on experience at on-campus facilities or in local hotels and restaurants is part of the program. Application of classroom theory brings our programs to life and assists the student in making future career contacts.
In addition to our on-campus programs, we now offer a Customer Service Academy (C.S.A.) that offers ten different module classes to the business community.
