All of Shasta College’s
Fire Academies exceed the standards set forth by the California State Board
of Fire Services, California State Training and Education Committee and the
National Fire Protection Association. Additionally, Shasta College was one
of the first colleges in the state to be accredited as a California State
Fire Marshal’s Office (CSFMO) Regional Fire Academy. We offer all of the
courses required for certification as a Firefighter, Fire Officer, Fire
Investigator, Prevention Officer and Fire Instructor through the CSFMO.
