Back to TopWhat classes should I take at Shasta College ?For a start, talk with a counselor here at Shasta College. If you are interested in psychology, of course you should consider taking a variety of psychology courses here at Shasta College. Also look carefully at the requirements of your transfer institution (university) and limits on the number of lower division credits/units accepted. Beyond courses in psychology you might consider areas such as other social sciences, biology, anatomy, linguistics, and foreign languages, in meeting your General Education requirements. Special note: 99.9% of university programs in psychology require that you complete Statistics. You should plan on completing this course (MATH 14) while at Shasta College or at least work through the prerequisite math courses so that you are ready for statistics immediately after transfer.
