Memory Write -- Peer Review

When you have printed your first 30 minutes worth of writing, gather together with three other people.

Pass your print-outs around and read them SILENTLY.  You're reading three other papers, so this should take about 15 minutes.

This is PEER REVIEW, so if you have a question or comment, write it on your colleague's paper, and include your initials in case s/he has any questions for you later.

As you are reading, consider: How well did the writer give you a sense of:

bulletwhat was seen
bulletwhat was heard
bulletwhat was felt
bulletwhat was smelled
bulletwhat was tasted
bulletwhat was thought
bulletwhat reactions were, both by the writer and other people

After reading everyone's paper, discuss each of them in turn.  You should be able to tell the three other students

bulletwhat you liked most about their paper
bulletwhat you would like to see more of
bulletwhat they might do to improve or help you see something more clearly

This should take about 30 minutes, or approximately 8 minutes per paper.

At the end of this time, I'd like each student to give me a quick summary of another student's paper, and tell me what your group liked most about it.  (One minute per paper, 30 minutes or so on this)
