Gradesheet last updated: Monday March 05, 2007 02:41 PM If you do not have Microsoft Excel, you may download a free viewer program which will enable you to access the grade sheet. To protect privacy, names are not listed with grades. Students may find their grades via a four-letter code which is assigned in class. If you have forgotten your code, ask for it after class. Please remember that while the online grade sheet is an extra convenience for students, it is a luxury, not a benefit your instructor is required to provide. I am only able to update it as I have free time. As the grades are entered, the sheet will keep a running total in the column on the far right. If you discover a discrepancy in the grade sheet, simply write "resubmit" on the assignment which is not recorded (or is recorded improperly), and turn it in with your homework. Please do not waste class time by complaining about a problem on the grade sheet. The student who has Microsoft Excel may interact with the sheet (for instance, if you've missed several assignments you might enter their possible scores to see what difference their loss has made to your grade). While students may interact with the sheet, they may not save "changes" to the sheet on the web. |
