In Class Agenda:
INFORMATION UPDATE ON FINAL-- YOUR
ESSAY QUESTION ON THE FINAL WILL BE BASED ON THE PERFECT STORM INSTEAD OF
A SHORT STORY AS WE DISCUSSED LAST WEEK. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU'VE COMPLETED
YOUR READING!
 | Finish your PowerPoint from 20.1 "A Worn Path" activity. Groups
will present their PowerPoint to the class Your goal is to have
created a very INTERESTING claim or argument about the story.
Activity details here. |
 | 20.2 Hero
project (30 points) |
 | 20.3 Current Events for discussion (we may just turn these in). |
 | Corner Conferences: While everyone else is working on their
projects, I'll bring you over one by one to go over your grades! |
 | Sign into Turnitin.com and submit your research paper text. Do
this by Wednesday! If you have not submitted your Explanatory Essay,
you will need to do that as well. Both reports are required for you to
pass the class.
I'm going over the list, and some of you do not have
accounts for Turnitin (so clearly cannot have submitted
papers).
Please resolve this problem TODAY!
If you are looking at your report for your Explanatory
Essay, and have over 40% similarity after quoted material
has been excluded, then you should revise your paper,
paraphrasing the highlighted material. I'll need to
see your revised paper on the day of the final in order to
release your final grade for the class.

Only ONE day of class left, and then the final!
