Adjunct, temporary, part-time, hourly faculty are
being recruited for a faculty pool in almost every area of instruction.

Salary: $40.41 - $56.09 per hour commensurate
with previous education and/or experience.

- Chemistry
Master's in chemistry
or bachelor's chemistry or
biochemistry and Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering,
chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry or the
equivalent required.
- Earth Science/Geology
Master's in geology, geophysics, earth
sciences, meteorology, oceanography, or paleontology
or Bachelor's geology and Master's in
geography, physics, or geochemistry or equivalent required.
- Botany
- French
Master's in French or
Bachelor's in French and Master's in foreign
language or linguistics or equivalent required.
- Spanish
Master's in Spanish
or Bachelor's Spanish and Master's in
foreign language or linguistics or equivalent required.
- Student Development
- Reading
Master's in education with a specialization in
reading or teaching reading
or bachelor's in any academic
discipline AND twelve semester units of course work in teaching reading
AND Master's in English, literature, linguistics, applied linguistics,
composition, comparative literature, TESL, or Psychology OR the
equivalent required.

Master's in any biological science or bachelor's in any biological science and master's in biochemistry,

Master's degree or bachelor's degree and two years of experience or associate degree and six years of experience required.

Adaptive Studies
(Reading for Life Skills/Mathematics for Life Skills)
Required: 1) Possession of a master's degree in the category of disability,
special education, education, psychology, educational psychology, or
rehabilitation counseling; and 2) Fifteen (15) semester units of upper division or graduate study in
the area of disability, to include, but not be limited to: a) Learning disabilities; b) Developmental disabilities; c) Deaf and hearing impaired; d) Physical disabilities; or e) Adapted computer technology.

Physics
Master's in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics or bachelor's in physics or astronomy and master's in engineering,
mathematics, meteorology, or geophysics required.

Psychology
Master's in psychology or bachelor's in psychology and master's in counseling, sociology,
statistics, neuroscience, or social work required.

communicate effectively orally and in writing.
