Accessing
the course for the first time. After registering for the class. The very first step is to e-mail me at mrodrigue@shastacollege.edu and send me your e-mail address and telephone number. Then read the following. We will be using WebCt only as a portal to the course.
You may bypass Webct completely
if you choose. We will be using a program called mymathlab on the
coursecompass web site. The first time you log on to this web site you
will need the COURSE ID: rodrigue95297. You will also need
an access code. This can be purchased online when you first log in with
a credit card. You may also purchase the access code in the bookstore.
The book is optional. Most students do not use the text as there is an
electronic version online. If you do not care to use the hardcopy of
the text the least expensive option is to just purchase access online with
your credit card. You can set up your course compass account at the
following link. I recommend using an account number and password that
is the same as your webct account or maybe your e-mail account. You will not be able to access the course at the mymathlab site until the week before the class starts. Click on the following link to get started with coursecompass/mymathlab.http://www.mymathlab.com don’t forget the first time you access the course you will need the COURSE ID: rodrigue95297 Once you get logged on to the mymathlab/coursecompass website you may bypass Webct and login directly at http://www.mymathlab.com . If you finished Math 101 last semester in my class you do not need a new access fee. You can use the COURSE ID: rodrigue95297 and change courses. Go to the following link and look at the directions near the bottom for enrolling in another mymathlab course using the same text. http://www.mymathlab.com/another.html
