bullet

You want to take a course that has a prerequisite, and you have a transcript that shows you earned a C or higher in the prerequisite course.  In this case, you should see a counselor to help you determine which math class to take.

If you have taken a math class at Shasta College and earned a grade in that class, you are not eligible to take the Shasta College Math Self-Assessment.  If you received a C or higher in that math class, you are eligible to take the next math class in the sequence of math courses.  If you received a D or F, you should consider retaking the class you received the D or F in, or taking a lower class.  In this case, you should see a counselor to help you make your decision.
