Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day, but
rather the celebration of an important battle won against the French in
Puebla, Mexico. We like to share information about Mexican and
Chicano/Latino muralists and artists, and make paper flowers with the
younger students who come to our campus to celebrate the day with us.
Our club member and club photographer, Robert Lucas, took these wonderful
pictures. You can click on thumbnail prints for a larger view. |
