Center for Nonprofit Resources


The EWD at Shasta College is the home of the Northern California Center of Nonprofit Resources. The Center houses the Reference Library and the Foundation Center database for grant research and is accessible to the community Monday through Friday 8:00 till 12:00 and 1:00 till 5:00. The Center is located at 1504 Market Street in Redding. Click here for directions.

Shasta College also offers the Nonprofit Organizational Management Certificate that provides face-to-face courses for perspective or current managers of nonprofit organizations. In addition, we are an approved  Continuing Education Provider  from CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive, International). Our Economic and Workforce Development catalog, Pathways, offers various courses that target the nonprofit organizations and we also offer no-cost business consulting services provided through the Small Business Development Center at Shasta College that targets business operational improvement.

The Center for Nonprofit Resources at Shasta College is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center (http://foundationcenter.org). As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, the Center for Nonprofit Resources at Shasta College provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online. The fully searchable databases include detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders.
