Shasta College’s Economic and Workforce Development Division (EWD) provides a wide range of exceptional services to the business community (existing and start-up), individuals seeking short-term career training, courses/programs for self improvement/interest, and grant funded services targeting regional economic improvement. To locations to serve the District: In Redding visit the Center for EWD and also there is an EWD site at the Tehama Campus in Red Bluff.

Business: Personalized one-on-one business consulting, courses and services to enhance business operations to increase net profit. Services provided by the SBDC, BEC and the BIT.

Education: Career programs, on-line instruction, workshops, contract training and courses for self enrichment or personal skills improvement. Select the PATHWAYS link on the left menu for a complete listing and registration for our numerous programs and courses.

Community Grants and Contracts: State and Federal grants/contract that target educational enhancement, business improvement and industry training.

Sustainability: EWD strives to infuse and develop sustainable programs and business practices associated with all our services and programs. EWD supports the Community Teaching Garden and provides numerous courses/programs in alternative energy - sustainability.
