The Seventh Annual
Shasta College Poetry Festival will take place on Saturday, November 19,
in room 802. This year’s festival will be an evening event, going from
7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The festival
coordinators invite submissions of poetry in three categories: Grades 9
-12, Shasta College students, and Open. As in past years, a jury of
language arts and social science faculty will select poems from these
groups to be read aloud at the festival. All selected poets will receive
a certificate commemorating the event.
The deadline for
submissions is Friday, November 4, and individuals may submit 1 to 3
