Description:
Install art shows for Redding's 2nd Saturday Art Hop events and misc
duties for HawkMan Studios related to Art Hop and other HawkMan Studios
programs. May also be asked to provide assistance with set-up for
performances and to deliver program materials to participating
businesses.
Requirements: Must be personable! Must also have a good sense of
humor, be easy-going and flexible, patient and open-minded, but VERY
ORGANIZED. Must be precise and detailed and have a good sense of space
and design. Must easily calculate measurements and have ability to use
(or ability to learn to use) tools for art installation, including
hammers, nails and hangers, manual and laser levels and measuring tape.
Must be physically able to climb on ladders and stools. Background or
academics in art NOT REQUIRED. Also good experience for design,
architecture, construction or interior design students. Lots of exposure
to local businesses and regional art scene. Mostly weekday evening work;
possibly 2nd Saturdays. |
