When you take one of my online classes, you get the same exact notes that I use in my face-to-face classes, links to excellent other websites, and the most attentive online instructor period! During the week and on most weekends your question will be answered no later than the next day and most of the time within 12 hours. I am planning to add audio files of me lecturing using the notes online for those who like the extra modality of hearing. I will also be offering real time interactive online office hours.
To view most course documents you will need the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe. It is free. Get Acrobat Reader.

If this link does not work, go to the Shasta College homepage and click on "Online Classes"You no longer have to self-register for classes on online. When you register with Admissions, you are automatically put into that course online. You just have to log on and you will not be able to do that until January 18, 2006.

This an INTERNET only course and is very different from a face to face course. It is entirely online.
Get the First Day Handout and READ this first!!! An internet course is more difficult for many students because it depends solely on self discipline.
**To officially register for online classes, use the online registration process or please contact the Shasta College Admissions & Records office at 530-225-4865 for specific registration and fee information.
After appropriate paperwork and fees are received, you will receive a receipt confirming your registration status.I also have provided lots of notes and hyperlinks for the class and I am always adding more. These should be used in addition to the text.
On my webCT webpages are the worksheets from which your quizzes will be generated. The quizzes will come right off the worksheets. These worksheets are for you to complete in preparation for the quizzes; you do not have to turn them in. I have provided answer sheets also. If you have any questions about any of the material, let me know. I will also provide you with a study guide for each exam. The exam questions come right off the study guide. I do not provide the answers to the study guide. That is your job.
