Description: |
A second course in algebra at the developmental level. This course prepares
the student to take a baccalaureate level general education mathematics
course. Topics covered include equations and functions of the following
type: quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, rational and radical. The course
also covers systems of linear equations and inequalities in two variables
and quadratic inequalities in one variable. Applied problems are encountered
throughout the course. |
