INTERMEDIATE WINEMAKING- 2 UNITS (S)

 

 

  Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in CULA 74.

Limitation on Enrollment:

Students must be 21 years of age or older to take this course.

Class Hours: 27 lecture/27 lab total
Description: This is an intermediate course in the basic science and technology of winemaking. It is intended for the entrepreneur exploring business opportunities in the grape wine industry, and/or the prospective small winery employee, as well as the home winemaker, interested in career or skills development. This course encompasses winemaking in the realms of wine analysis, chemistry, and treatment.
