BASIC FOOD PRODUCTION - 5 UNITS (F/S)

 

 

 

Corequisite:

Students must be concurrently enrolled in or have completed CULA 50 with a grade of C or higher.

Class Hours: 18 lecture/216 lab total
Description: This course involves preparing and cooking of foods, understanding kitchen operations and the proper use of safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen. This will prepare the students for the Advanced Food Preparation class and will prepare skilled food personnel in kitchen procedures.
