INVESTMENTS - 3 UNITS (I)

 

 

Class Hours: 54 lecture total
Description: Course designed to help the student gain an understanding of stocks, bonds, and other securities. Students will be encouraged to develop their own investment philosophy based on an understanding of the securities market and methods of analyzing that market. Recommended for students wanting an understanding of how businesses raise capital in the securities market. The student will develop a hypothetical personal investment portfolio, which will be tracked with assistance of a web-based monitoring system.
