Registration for New Students
There are steps, referred to as matriculation, that new Shasta College students must complete in order to register early (before Open Registration). NOTES:
If you are a high school student and would like to enroll at Shasta College while still in high school, pick up a concurrent enrollment form from your high school counselor or Shasta College Admissions. Click here for concurrent enrollment steps and an example of how to complete the Course Information.

Complete the "Shasta College Online Application for Admission". If you complete a hard copy, return to Admissions and Records, Room 158 or mail to Shasta College Admissions Office P. O. Box 496006, Redding, CA 96049
[ ] High School/College Transcripts
Request that your high school/other college transcripts be sent to: Admissions & Records Office (see address below).
[ ] Assessment *
Take the English placement test and complete the math self-placement test at the Assessment Center. No appointment needed, call 242-7751 for hours.
[ ] Shasta College Orientation *
Attend a new student orientation. Sign up at
the Counseling Window or call 242-7724
