Nurse Refresher Course
This course is designed for RN’s and
LVN’s returning to active practice.
The goal of the course is to orient
and update
registered nurses and licensed vocational
nurses on current techniques of nursing care
including medications, IV therapy, nursing care
plans and team leader duties. Supervised hospital experience will be
conducted to prepare the RN/LVN to assume staff nurse duties upon completion
of the course. The program allows for individual differences of learning.
Approved for 30 hours of Continuing Education.The course
is 5 weeks and
begins May 27
through June 27.
Prerequisite: California Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse
license.
Important course
information meetings will be held Friday, May 2, from 0900 to 1000 and 1500
to1600 at Shasta College Health Sciences building.
