Repaso para el Examen Capítulo 6

I. Comprensión auditiva

You will hear a description of a home and will have to mark the rooms and items mentioned. Be sure to study all the vocabulary about homes and the things we find inside.

II. Lectura y escritura

You will need to compare two houses. For example, La casa de los Ruiz tiene ____ dormitorios que la casa de los Smith. or La casa de los Moreno es ____ grande como mi casa. Study the formulas for making comparisons or superlative statements.

You will need to fill in sentences with the correct form of saber or conocer. Be sure you know the meanings and forms of each verb.

There is a section missing the direct object pronouns me, te, nos, lo, la, los, las. For example, ¿Te llamó anoche? No, no ___ llamó anoche. or ¿Conoces a mi hermano? Sí, pero nunca ___ veo.

Can you state each room in a house and the activities that take place there? ¡Qué bien! This will be on the test.

You will need to choose the correct verb conjugation to complete a paragraph and you will later need to conjugate verbs in the preterite, filling them into an incomplete paragraph.

There is a short composition activity. Be sure you can write a short paragraph about the different topics covered in chapter six.

You will have a reading in Spanish and will need to be able to answer questions about the content.
