EOPS/CARE students are eligible for a
book service
that can be
used to purchase
textbooks in the Shasta College book store.
EOPS/CARE
students may borrow available
books, calculators, or tape recorders for the
semester from our
lending library.
EOPS/CARE
students qualify for free academic tutoring. Students seeking assistance are paired with a qualified tutor from our
tutoring program.
EOPS/CARE
students will be provided with transportation
assistance in the form of a campus parking permit or a RABA (Redding Area Bus
Authority) or a TRAX (Shasta College Bus) pass.
EOPS/CARE
students are eligible to receive a one time per semester
emergency loan
for up to $150. Current
FAFSA applications must be on record with the Shasta College financial aid
office to qualify.
EOPS/CARE
students who earn a degree or certificate from Shasta College are eligible
to receive a voucher to purchase their
commencement cap and gown. If
they graduate with honors, EOPS will also pay for the
honors cord worn at the
ceremony.
EOPS/CARE
students who are transferring to a CSU or UC campus are eligible to receive an
application
fee waiver to offset their application fees for transferring.
